All appointments must be scheduled in advance and same day appointments are available.  Requests can be made using the Patient Portal or by calling us directly. If you want to be seen quickly, please call us and we’ll make every attempt to fit you in as soon as possible. 

Appointment Cancellations

Please message us 24 hours in advance to cancel your appointment (in office, phone visit or online visit).  We will send patient reminders through the patient portal, email or text message the day before your appointment. 

Missed Appointments

Your health is very important to us, so we encourage you to keep all scheduled appointments (including appointments for office visits, phone visits and online visits). We understand that things come up, but if you can not make an appointment, we expect you to notify us by phone or patient portal message.   People who miss multiple appointments may be considered for termination from the practice.

Refill Requests

We will make every effort to ensure that you have enough medication to last you until your next scheduled appointment. In the event that a refill is needed, please ensure that you submit a refill request through the patient portal at least 48 hours in advance.  Please note that not all refill requests will be approved without adequate follow up, and may require an  office visit. Please plan accordingly. 

Communication through the patient portal

People are encouraged to use the patient portal to request appointments, refill requests, and to ask questions regarding medications, treatments, among other things.  Please do not use this to contact us for emergencies including chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, slurring speech. If you experience any of these things, or believe you are having an emergency, call me directly or call 911 and then call me.  All messages will be responded to within 48 hours, if not sooner. 

Arriving Late to an Appointment

Here, your time is respected.  We will do our best to see you at the time we promise and give you the time you need to address your concerns.  In order to do this for all of our clients, we request that you arrive a little early for your appointment. If there is a possibility you may be late, please call us as soon as possible.
